Technology is very important in our world today. Most people use smartphones every day to call friends, send messages, and take pictures. Students often use computers or tablets at school to do homework and learn new things. Many workers use technology too, like in offices where people use computers to write emails and make presentations.

At home, families watch TV together and sometimes play video games. Doctors say children should not use phones or tablets all day – it’s good to play outside too. Parents help children learn to use technology safely and wisely. Schools teach students how to find information online and use programs like word processors.

Technology helps us in many ways: we can buy things online, talk to family far away, and learn about the world. But it’s important to remember to turn off screens sometimes and talk to people face-to-face.
