Mountain Rescue Operation Saves Trapped Hikers
BREAKING NEWS — Artvin, Turkey
A rescue crew was dispatched early yesterday morning after two hikers became trapped on a cliff in the Kaçkar Mountains following a sudden landslide. An eyewitness reported hearing a loud noise before rocks began to surface and block the trail. Unfortunately, one of the hikers was injured during the incident and could not move on her own.
A spokesperson for the local search-and-rescue team said the crew arrived at the scene within two hours and immediately began to evacuate the area. “We had to act fast because another storm was approaching,” the spokesperson declared. Fortunately, both survivors were located before nightfall. The injured hiker was airlifted to the nearest hospital by a helicopter crew, while the other was guided to safety on foot.
Local authorities called the rescue team members heroes for their dedication and courage. “Without their rapid response, the outcome could have been tragically different,” an official stated.

A rapid spread of wildfires in southern Turkey forced thousands of residents to cope with dangerous smoke and heat during the summer months. International rescue teams were sent to measure the damage and help firefighters bring the situation under control. Fortunately, the fires were contained after two weeks of continuous effort.Paraphrasing Example
