Our Classroom Election
Last week, we had a classroom election at school. There were two candidates: Elif and Mert. They both prepared campaigns and talked about their plans.

Elif said, “I will support equal rights for everyone. I will organize a book club and a sports day.”

Mert said, “I will respect everyone’s ideas. I will prepare fun activities and help keep our classroom clean.”

On Friday, we went to the polling place in our classroom. We wrote the name of our candidate on the paper, folded it, and put it into the ballot box. The election was fair and democratic. In the end, Elif won and became our classroom president!
