A Day at the Library
Yesterday, Elif and her friends went to the school library. Elif looked for a new novel on the bookshelf. She found an interesting story about a detective.
Her friend Mert borrowed a dictionary and a magazine. He sat next to Elif and read the magazine. Sude was behind the bookshelf — she was looking for a poetry book.
The librarian, Mrs. Ayşe, helped them find important information for their project. They stayed at the library for two hours. It was a great day!

Simple Past ve prepositions of place’e dikkat et. “went”, “found”, “borrowed” gibi geçmiş zaman fiilleri ve “next to”, “behind” gibi yer edatları var.

The School Library
Imagine a school library: There is a big bookshelf in the middle of the room. The dictionary is on the bookshelf. A magazine is under the table. The librarian’s desk is near the door.- a Where is the novel? (next to / dictionary) Write a sentence.

- c Where is the e-book reader? (on / table) Write a sentence.
- d Where is the poetry book? (between / two novels) Write a sentence.

Yer edatlarını kullan: on, under, next to, near, behind, between, in front of, over. Kalıp: “The [item] is [preposition] the [place/item].”
