Frequency Adverbs

What are Frequency Adverbs?

Frequency adverbs tell us how often something happens. They go before the main verb but after "be".

Subject + frequency adverb + verb / Subject + be + frequency adverb

Frequency Scale

usually	80%	She usually goes swimming after school.
often	60%	We often train in the park.
sometimes	40%	He sometimes plays tennis at weekends.

Position in Sentence

"I usually get up at 7 o'clock." (before main verb)

Genellikle saat 7'de kalkarim.

"She is always late for training." (after "be")

Antrenmana her zaman geç kalır.

Subject + verb + once / twice / three times + a day / a week / a month
