Ortaokul İngilizce Dersi Maarif Model Taslak Öğretim Programları Analizi
Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeli çalışmaları kapsamında ortaokul ingilizce derslerine ait yeni öğretim programları taslakları 30 Mayıs Cuma günü paylaşıma açıldı. Öğretmenlerimiz 13 Haziran Cuma gününe kadar hazırlanan taslakları inceleme fırsatı bulabilecek. Taslaklar askından kalkana kadar dileyen öğretmenler taslaklarla ilgili görüşlerini bakanlığın ilgili birimleri ile paylaşabilecek.
Maarif Model ile Ortaokul İngilizce Derslerinde Yapılan Değişiklikler:
Ortaokul Maarif Model İngilizce müfredatında her kademede 8 ünite olduğu görülüyor. 5. ve 6.sınıflar için her üniteye 10 saat ayrılmış olup, ünite başı 23 kazanım eklenmiş. 7 ve 8.sınıflarda ise her ünite 14 ders saati içerisinde bitirilecek. Ünite başına düşen kazanım sayısı ise 7 ve 8.sınıflarda 24 olarak gözüküyor. Taslaklarda dikkat çeken bir diğer nokta da kazanım ve ünite temalarının benzerliği diyebiliriz.
Ortaokul İngilizce Maarif model için eklenen yeni kazanım örnekleri:
Yeni Maarif model İngilizce 5.sınıf 1.ünite içerisinde yer alan hedef grammar konuları:
• A, an, the: (The Eiffel Tower is in France).
• To be present: (I am a student at this school).
• Present Simple Tense (do you like + ing): (Do you like reading books in your free time?)
• Personal pronouns: (He loves playing video games).
• Imperatives: (Please sit down and relax).
• Wh questions (who, what): (What is your favourite subject in school?)
• Modals “mustn’t & can’t” (prohibition): (You mustn’t run in the classroom).
Görüldüğü gibi eski müfredat içerisinde 1.ünitede var olan classroom – school subjects gibi konular yeni maarif modelde karşımıza .2.ünite teması olarak çıkıyor. Burada “prohibition” kazanımı 5.sınıf öğrencilerini zorlayabilecek gibi duruyor. Öte yandan “Imperatives” için yerinde bir kazanım olmuş diyebiliriz.

Tablodan da anlaşılacağı üzere “Speaking skill” yerine artık “Speaking Expression”, “Reading skill” yerine de “reading-comprehension” gibi ifadeler kullanacağız. Dikkat çeken bir diğer ayrıntı da destekleyici kazanımlar içerisine “Grammaring: Selection and Use” ve “Vocabulary: Selection and Use” eklenmesi diyebiliriz.
Grammaring: Selection and Use Kazanımı için 5.sınıf 1.üniteden örnek:
ENG.5.1.G1. Students are expected to be able to select and use the target grammatical elements of the current content about “school life with people, places and rules at school; school clubs; countries; national days and celebrations” accurately, authentically, spontaneously, and naturally and use it appropriately and effectively when communicating with others.
